The Cape Coral Art Festival is one of Lee County’s largest Special Events. In 2020, it was voted the best Outdoor Event by the readers of Gulfshore Life Magazine and the 5th best Art Festival in the nation by Sunshine Artists. No wonder that the festival attracts more than 100,000 visitors to Cape Coral every year.
For more than 35 years, the Rotary Club of Cape Coral has hosted this special event and donated the proceeds from booth sales to improve the Cape Coral community. Hence, it is not surprising that a city like Cape Coral was able to recover so quickly after Hurricane Ian, so that the Cape Coral Art Festival 2023 could already take place three months after the hurricane. Despite the fact that so many people have lost their belongings, they came together to support the artists of the region and to spend a beautiful day with the family.
